Business Development Executive

Job Description

As a Business Development Executive at WordSphere, you will play a key role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and working closely with our team to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs. You’ll be instrumental in growing WordSphere’s presence and reputation as a leading provider of web development services.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead Generation: Identify potential clients and business opportunities through market research, networking, and strategic prospecting.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and position WordSphere’s services as the ideal solution.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to reach target revenue goals, including creating proposals, conducting presentations, and negotiating contracts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, design, and development teams to align our services with client requirements and ensure seamless project handoffs.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to identify new growth areas and make informed recommendations.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue projections.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably in the web development, IT, or digital marketing industry.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
  • Skills:
    • Sales & Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively and establish mutually beneficial terms.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical solutions clearly and convincingly.
    • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a customer-centric mindset.
    • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing market trends, client needs, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities.
    • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies, with a focus on achieving business growth objectives.
    • Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of web development services, digital marketing, and related technologies to effectively communicate WordSphere’s offerings to clients.
